Love Requirements

Distance makes the heart grow fonder.

vs.

You make time for those you love.

Two very valid quotes but yet two very different approaches.

Love and affection does not demand a constant physical connection but instead requires an emotional connection of understanding, trust, accommodation, and compromise.

Many of us live our lives with so many goals that we want to achieve, so many places to go, but yet there is so little time. That's where priorities kick in.

Being busy is okay, having an intense schedule that takes over your life is okay. After all, we're not getting any younger and we have the rest of our retiring lives to sit around and stare at each other. In the midst of everything though, we mustn't forget one of the most important things in life --

To love, to give love, to receive love. The inexplicable entity that sustains us, that keeps us going.

After all, what are we working for?
